What We Offer
Our teaching services are designed for players of all skill levels. Here’s a list of what we offer:
Beginner Lesson- Two Parts
Part One - Learn the tiles, the National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) card, and the manner of play.
Part Two – Supported play, reinforcing what you have learned in Part One
Supported Play
Practice what you have learned in a small group of players. Reinforces the NMJL rules and conventions.
Strategy and Annual Card Review
Passing strategies for “The Charleston”, offensive and defensive play, and scoring. Table rules and variations of the game.
Lil’ Mahj
Small groups of children aged six and up can learn the game according to the NMJL rules on a simplified card.
Fundraising
Host a tournament or social play day to raise funds to support your favorite charity, school, or community cause.
